HI! I’m Clement Wilson Fonseca, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker, psilocybin facilitator, and somatic practitioner based in Portland, Oregon. With a background in psychotherapy, social work, rites of passage, initiation, and integrative healing, I support and guide individuals through life’s thresholds with care, depth, and attunement — helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom through work that bridges sacred solitude and collective healing.

Interhealing is a word that came to me through my own healing journey, and it now forms the foundation of my therapeutic practice. It means that the pursuit of healing is never solitary; it unfolds through relationships, with yourself, with others, with the natural world, and with the stories, culture, and lineages that shape your life. In my work, I center interdependence—a way of being in relationship that honors both autonomy and connection. Rather than relationships rooted in enmeshment or self-sacrifice, I support people in cultivating bonds grounded in reciprocity, trust, and authenticity.

My approach is relational and body-based. I bring warmth, ease, presence, and a deep respect for your inner wisdom, lived experience, and your unique hopes and dreams for a life worth living. I trust the pace of your unfolding as I support you in navigating the parts of your life you’d like to tend to

As a queer and transgender man, I carry a lived understanding of liminality, fluid identity, and transformation. I welcome complexity and nuance, creating spaces where all parts of you are invited to belong—including the parts that feel uncertain, stuck, too much, or not enough.

I work with a wide range of experiences, both individually and in groups. Some of the experiences I commonly support include:

  • Treatment-resistant depression

  • Burnout and chronic stress

  • Queer and trans identity exploration

  • Exploring transgender masculinity

  • Spiritual inquiry and existential questions

  • Life transitions and threshold moments

  • Developmental and relational trauma

  • Relational patterns like over-responsibility or difficulty expressing needs

My work is informed by social and transformative justice, queer and feminist theory, transpersonal psychology, somatic practices, narrative therapy, psychedelic healing, and rites of passage work. My work is not limited to any one modality or orientation — throughout all my offerings I aim to cultivate spaces where healing and growth can unfold on personal, relational, ancestral, and ecological levels, honoring the fullness of each person’s journey.
